Emily Lang

I’m a born-and-raised New Yorker, which means my first Broadway show, at the age of 5, was The Drowsy Chaperone. I recently graduated from Muhlenberg College with a double major in Theatre and Music.

My interests span centuries. Though I have a passion for studying and performing opera and for Shakespeare and classical texts, my favorite rehearsal rooms are for new work development. My perfect project? A new musical adaptation of a Shakespeare play.

I also love to travel—I’ve cliff-jumped, been to the top of Europe, and nerded out over various ruins and libraries.

My proudest achievement is that I got an A+ in Calc III—I can find (almost) any derivative or integral!

Coming Up Next…

I will be performing in Epheverie Theatre Company’s inaugural Short Play Festival in late August 2025 in the role of Pegs in Ella in Stardust, a new play by Juice O’Rourke and Sammie Murray, directed by Fae Hartt. We have already begun rehearsals, and I’m so excited for an audience to see this wonderful play on its feet!
