Emily Lang
I’m a born-and-raised New Yorker, which means my first Broadway show, at the age of 5, was The Drowsy Chaperone. I recently graduated from Muhlenberg College with a double major in Theatre and Music.
My interests span centuries. Though I have a passion for studying and performing opera and for Shakespeare and classical texts, my favorite rehearsal rooms are for new work development. My perfect project? A new musical adaptation of a Shakespeare play.
I also love to travel—I’ve cliff-jumped, been to the top of Europe, and nerded out over various ruins and libraries.
My proudest achievement is that I got an A+ in Calc III—I can find (almost) any derivative or integral!

Kitchen Sink’s Seriously Unserious 24 Hour Play Festival
Only 24 hours after meeting playwright Georgia Wright, I performed at The RAT NYC in their brand new ten-minute play, Legacy, as a part of Kitchen Sink Theatre Company’s first 24-hour play festival!
I shot my first short film, The Leech of Shabbos, by Yaniv Shimson, in January 2026! I played Tikvah, a teenage daughter self-conscious about her tooth gap. Stay tuned for a release date.
The Leech of Shabbos
I performed in Epheverie Theatre Company’s inaugural Short Play Festival in late August 2025 in the role of Pegs in Ella in Stardust, a new play by Juice O’Rourke and Sammie Murray, directed by Fae Hartt.
